About us
Newstead & District Swimming Pool is part of Mount Alexander Swimming Pools, which is owned by Mount Alexander Shire and managed by YMCA Victoria.
Programs and activities
Newstead & District Swimming Pool is available for a range of swim activities including:
- aqua exercise classes;
- birthday parties;
- infant aqua play;
- lap swimming;
- recreational swimming;
- school and group bookings;
- and VicSwim swimming lessons.
We are an accredited Watch Around Water centre, meaning there are guidelines (see our pools page) that must be followed when visiting us.
Facilities
We have two outdoor pools and our facilities include:
- a 25 metre main pool;
- toddlers pool;
- male and female change rooms;
- kiosk;
- BBQ;
- and shaded grass areas for for families to enjoy.
