    Our Harcourt pool remains closed until further notice. Maldon, Newstead and Castlemaine are open as usual, however, we are monitoring the air quality closely and may require to close the outdoor facilities at short notice.     Mount Alexander Swimming Pools include four outdoor pools located in Castlemaine, Harcourt, Maldon and Newstead.

    Our outdoor pools are open during summer.

    Our pool area facilities include:

    • 25 to 50 metre main pools;
    • intermediate and wader pools;
    • toddler pools;
    • change rooms;
    • kiosks;
    • BBQ facilities;
    • and shaded grassy areas.

    We are an accredited Watch Around Water centre, meaning there are guidelines (see below) that must be followed when visiting us.

      The Watch Around Water program operates at this pool. The water safety education program aims to increase awareness of the importance of active supervision of young children in public aquatic facilities.
